You may notice some construction going on in our pool parking lot. We are repaving the side of the parking lot closest to the pool. Next year we hope to do the opposite side of the esplanade closest to the tennis courts.
The tennis courts received their new awnings last month and if you have a chance, take a look.
We are having an arborist look at our large tree near the playground. It seems to be in distress, but before a decision is made, the board wants to try and do everything it can to save it. The tree has been here a long, long time and we want to make sure we've done everything we can to save it.
We had a report and upon reviewing security cameras discovered three young men had decided to take an unauthorized swim in our pool. This was reported to the police and once identified, be aware that the HOA Board will prosecute. The park is for everyone, however, our pool and tennis courts are private and therefore, anyone breaking will have action taken.
If you've ever come across an empty doggy-depot at our park or hoped we had neighborhood seasonal events, you've come to the right place. Pheasant Creek needs volunteers! Most everything is done by volunteers. From the HOA to the simplest of jobs, we need volunteers to help us maintain a nice, safe neighborhood. At this time, we are again looking for volunteers for Pheasant Creek. It doesn’t have to be anything big. For example, the picture below shows Ed, Vicki and Sam fixing the windscreens at the tennis courts. Trish, another volunteer came out to help before she headed off to work. We have a volunteer who lets us know when we need to check out the park. Another volunteer changes the dog bags up at the park when they become low. We also have another neighbor who is in charge of the flag. One of your neighbors also puts out the signs saying when the HOA meetings are going to occur. As you can see it’s nothing huge, but it makes a big difference in our neighborhood in keeping things clean and up to date.
Here are some needs at this time:
The Yard of the Month volunteer places the signs in the winners' lawns, awards them their gift cards, and takes a photo for submission to the PC website. (March-September)
Bi-annual Garage Sale Advertising. This volunteer places our yard sale banner at the PC entrance and submits yard sale ads to various news publications.
